Christians are called to make disciples by teaching others to obey all that Jesus has commanded (Matt. 28:18-20). Naturally, because of their life-experience and spiritual maturity, older men will be the primary teachers and trainers of younger men as they seek to learn what it means to follow Jesus. Typically such training will take place in the context of a one-on-one relationship and/or a small group Bible study.

ONE-ON-ONE DISCIPLESHIP

These are generally informal yet very intentional meeting times where an older man will come alongside a younger man to help him grow spiritually.

BIBLE STUDIES

For growth and mutual edification, a group of men will gather to study a book of the Bible, some theological topic, or to ponder the gleanings of a good Christian book. The primary men’s Bible study meets every Wednesday from 7:00-9:00 PM.

LEADER'S TRAINING

Knowing that men are meant to set the tone in the home and in the church, FBC has a Leader’s Training track designed to help men develop as leaders.  Leaders Training is an attempt to take what has been learned from God’s word and to entrust it to “faithful men who will be able to teach others also” (2 Tim. 2:2)
