Sunday School

We offer Sunday school classes for all ages before our service at 8:45-9:50am from

September–May. We use Truth78 curriculum for toddlers – 6th grade. These classes are intentionally placed before the main service rather than during it, because we desire for children to be with their parents as much as possible in the main service. We don't mind the occasional cry of a child during our service; in fact, we welcome it. We long to see the next generation evangelized and equipped for life at an early age.

Our Service

The worship service usually lasts an hour and thirty minutes. After a warm welcome and an array of announcements, the main portion of our service begins with a call to worship from Scripture. The call to worship is followed by two songs with a pastoral prayer inserted between songs. The songs are thoughtfully chosen and the prayer carefully crafted to prepare hearts for the preaching of God's word. Our sermons are taught directly from the Bible through expository (verse by verse) preaching. We end our time together responding to God's Word through prayer and three songs, giving an unusual emphasis to singing in response to the preaching. We sing a blend of hymns and contemporary songs that are rich in truth and Christ-centered, allowing all generations to worship and learn together. 

What to Wear

Generally speaking, on a spectrum ranging from formal to informal, people at FBC tend to dress more on the informal side. "Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart," so whether it’s jeans and a t-shirt or a suit and tie, you are welcome to worship with us.

Childcare

Childcare is available for children kindergarten age and younger during the worship service. There will be toys, music, a Bible story, and snacks. There is also a nursing mothers room where mothers can listen to the service while tending to their precious little ones.

Post-Service Fellowship

After the service many people (if not most) love to linger and enjoy a time of informal fellowship after each service. Stick around for some snacks & fellowship - we want to meet you! The second Sunday of the month is also an all-church potluck, directly after the service.
